FormForge Privacy Policy

Overview

FormForge helps users track workouts, reps, meal planning, food logs, and form feedback. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, why it is used, and the choices users have.

Information We Handle

FormForge may handle the following information:

• Email address and account identifiers for sign-in.
• Workout activity, exercises, reps, weights, plans, streaks, and progress.
• Meal planning, food logs, calorie goals, recipes, scanned food information, and optional notes.
• Camera access for live form tracking and barcode scanning.
• Purchase and subscription status from Apple's App Store systems.
• App settings, security preferences, and local session information.

Camera Use

FormForge may use the device camera to provide live form feedback and barcode scanning. Camera frames are used for app functionality. Users should only use camera features in safe places where they are comfortable with what appears on their device.

Authentication and Backend

Email account authentication is handled through Supabase. Supabase may process account identifiers, email addresses, authentication tokens, device and network metadata, and related security logs to provide sign-in and account security.

On-Device Storage

Workout, meal, plan, security, and app preference data may be stored on the user's device using local storage and Keychain where appropriate. Clearing app data or deleting the app can remove local data from that device.

AI Food Features

If a user adds an API key or uses AI-powered food features, food prompts or related inputs may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate responses. Users should not enter sensitive information that is not needed for the food feature.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchase status are processed by Apple through the App Store. FormForge does not receive full payment card numbers.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to provide account access, track workouts and nutrition, secure the app, restore purchases, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers used to operate the app, such as Supabase, Apple, and any AI provider configured for app functionality. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

User Choices

Users can clear local app data in Security settings, request account deletion from the account screen, request deletion by contacting support, and manage subscriptions from Apple ID subscription settings.

Children

FormForge is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support so it can be reviewed and removed where required.

Security

FormForge uses iOS security features such as Keychain storage, optional biometric app lock, and privacy screen controls. No app or service can guarantee perfect security.
